UK protest singer Grace Petrie has become one of contemporary folk’s most urgent and compelling voices, blending razor-sharp political songwriting with warmth, wit and unwavering conviction. Since her Australian debut in 2020, she has returned for multiple tours, selling out shows across Australia and New Zealand while building a devoted following.
Often compared to Billy Bragg, Petrie’s songs balance righteous anger with hope and solidarity, with queer anthem Black Tie surpassing 1.5 million streams worldwide. Her latest album Build Something Better, produced by Frank Turner, topped the UK folk charts. In 2027, Petrie returns exploring the stripped back power of folk songwriting once again.
