A very special evening with the iconic queen that is Ladi6, fundraising for Auckland Women’s Centre’s neighbourhood awhi & nationwide voice
Fresh off her Le Vā tour,the charismatic, wonderful, amazing Ladi6 will delight us in Tāmaki Makaurau once again, with a very special encore gig to celebrate the 50th birthday of Auckland Women’s Centre!
“Sonically incredible” in live performance, Ladi6 is “cool, beautiful, and with the voice of an angel” as The Post put it last month. Her dreamy Le Vā album is dedicated to her late mother Fuarosa, and the evening will have all the feels – come transcend winter, transcend everyday life, transcend the doomscroll.
It’s time to give yourself an absolutely fun, beautiful night out with your people, you know it’s been too long! Yes, it’s time to (birthday) party with Ladi6 - bring your friends of all genders!
And it’s for a good cause – you’re support women’s rights at a vital time – so attending is altruistic ;) Auckland Women’s Centre works for the safety, empowerment and wellbeing of all wāhine and women (trans & cis) in Tāmaki Makaurau and beyond.
ENTRY INFO
- We'd prefer it if you leave your bags at home, but if you do need to bring one, please keep it small. Bags will be subject to a quick inspection before you enter.
- Remember to bring your photo ID (a valid NZ driver's license, passport or Kiwi Access Card) if you'd like to drink as ID is required for all alcohol purchases. We’ll need to see your ID otherwise we are unable to serve them to you or refund your purchase if you do not have your ID with you.
