The festive season gets a bold new sound with JingleBeatz! SIYAYA!, a dazzling holiday concert re-imagining traditional Christmas classics with African rhythm and flair.
Featuring the WOW Live Band helmed by Musical Director Gabriel Mugadza, alongside powerhouse vocalists and performers from across the African diaspora, (TiMMY the FIRST, Jane Benney, Kuziwa Mugadza, Sasha Sabete and Francis Anyanka) this third iteration of JingleBeatz! transforms carols you know and love into irresistible Afro-fusion anthems melding the sounds of Afro-Jazz, Amapiano, Souk, Woro, Sungura, Mbaqanga (South African Township Jive), Maqat from North Africa, Sebene and much more.
With vibrant percussion, soaring harmonies, and the warmth of community celebration, JingleBeatz! SIYAYA! is a joyful holiday tradition in the making — uplifting, unforgettable, and proudly Afro-Kiwi!
ENTRY INFO
- We'd prefer it if you leave your bags at home, but if you do need to bring one, please keep it small. Bags will be subject to a quick inspection before you enter.
- Remember to bring your photo ID (a valid NZ driver's license, passport or Kiwi Access Card) if you'd like to drink as ID is required for all alcohol purchases. We’ll need to see your ID otherwise we are unable to serve them to you or refund your purchase if you do not have your ID with you.
