Perhaps you witnessed their unforgettable performance at the SeePort Festival with the Auckland Symphony Orchestra? Maybe you were groovin’ and vibin’ with them at SoundSplash Raglan, the iT Festival in Paihia or singing your heart out at the Whitianga Scallop Festival and just want more. Have more. Have it all. White Chapel Jak are an acoustic band like no other. With an exciting and energetic repertoire of songs you know and love, set to heart pumping funk and groove based beats, you can’t help but sing and dance the night away.

Lead singer Bonnie Hurunui with her “holy high hair” is a born entertainer. She loves the energy of the enthusiastic crowd and will take you on a fun journey, letting your hair down, letting go and having fun.

Dean Tinning their 6’3” viking on percussion. He sits on a cajon with a suitcase for his kick drum and can play six instruments at once. Then he sings backups with the voice of an angel.

Legally blind, Michael White can stand on his double bass while playing big fat funky lines.

Lead guitarist Nathan Boston plays a classical guitar through a “wah wah” pedal and always has a few tricks up his sleeve! You’ve never seen anything quite like White Chapel Jak.

Bonnie, Nathan, Michael and Dean would love to invite you to join them for a night of musical fun, laughter, singing, dancing and just letting go! You know that’s how we roll and when we roll like that together, well, beautiful things happen…
