WALKING ON CARS

WALKING ON CARS

With Special Guest Riley Pearce

Wednesday 27 November 2019

Irish natives Walking on Cars shot to fame in their home country in 2012 with debut single ‘Catch Me If You Can’, and have been shaking up the scene ever since with their chart topping hits at home and abroad.

Just last month the indie-pop hero’s played a sold out, 12,000 capacity show at Irish Independent Park supported by rising UK star Tom Walker and the irrepressible Lewis Capaldi.

November & December will see the band perform their first ever headline shows in Australia & New Zealand. The dates follow a summer of European festival shows, a completely sold out UK tour and a clutch of huge arena and outdoor shows in their homeland, in support of the band’s spectacular new album, Colours.

Riley Pearce will be supporting Walking On Cars at their Auckland gig. From humble beginnings busking at farmers markets and playing open mic nights in Perth, alt-folk artist Riley Pearce is now selling out shows across Australia, winning awards and touring internationally.

Breakout single ‘Brave’ has clocked up over 12 million plays on Spotify alone, making it clear that his reflective songwriting and chilled-out coastal vibes resonates with more than just folk music lovers.
