Burgeoning, indie pop-ers, Daffodils, have been a growing presence in New Zealand’s music scene since first making an appearance in 2016. The four-piece, Auckland band is Isaac Keating (drums), Jade Bryham (synths, keyboards, bv’s), Louis Graham (bass, bv’s), and vocalist Theo Spike Salmon (guitar, vocals). The anthem-machines are preparing for an all ages show at the Tuning Fork this September following the release of their single "A Leo Underwater", a synth-laden, uptempo summer anthem.
This will be their debut headline show and follows two big performances in July; opening for UK band Pale Waves and a sold out show supporting Dunedin gems Soaked Oats. Daffodils released their debut single, "Two Angels" in December 2017, a perfect summer sing along, reminiscent of new-wave and 80’s synth-pop. Earlier this year, Daffodils released "Staring at the Sun", then shared "First Time Party Nightmare"; the first song they wrote together.
Daffodils will be supported by Bene and friends.
